The AI tools changing the game this week
Welcome back! In last Friday’s newsletter, I covered AI wearables—and it got me thinking: There are endless ways in which AI gadgets could change our daily experience. Imagine a headband that records our dreams and recreates them as a movie. How’s that for a startup idea?
While AI can’t yet record our dreams (though Prophetic is getting close), here are six new AI tools that can already transform your daily life. :)

🛠️ 6 Amazing Future Tools
1. Moonvalley: Want to produce high-quality videos, but don’t have Pixar-level animation skills? Moonvalley’s text-to-video generative AI model can help.
How it works: Similar to Midjourney, the only way to interact with Moonvalley is through Discord. After typing in your prompt, you can choose from a range of video lengths (short, medium, long) and styles (like comic book, anime, realism, or 3D animation). And voilà—you’ve got a stunning animation within seconds!
Bonus points: Moonvalley already generates human faces of hyper-realistic quality—on par with that of big text-to-video competitors like Runway Gen-2. (Pricing: free—still in beta)
2. Clearmind: Sometimes, sharing your thoughts with another human can be intimidating. Clearmind offers an alternative: the world's first personalized AI therapy platform.
How it works: When you journal (either written or verbally) on Clearmind’s platform, it listens to your thoughts and offers six unique solutions including art based on your emotions, custom to-do lists, personalized meditations, and more. Over time, Clearmind tracks your emotional journey with AI-driven graphs to help you keep tabs on the progress of your mental well-being.
Clearmind is one of many new AI-powered mental health tools. Yesterday—in honor of World Mental Health Day—I shared a video breaking down a few of them. Check it out!
3. LLaVA: OpenAI’s release of GPT-4’s new Vision feature two weeks ago had the entire AI space buzzing. But to gain access to Vision, users have to 1) pay for ChatGPT Plus and 2) wait for it to be rolled out to their accounts. Luckily, LLaVA is a free version of the same thing.
How it works: LLaVA (Large Language-and-Vision Assistant) is a multimodal model that connects a vision encoder with an LLM to mimic GPT-4’s capabilities in visual and language understanding. Just drag and drop an image, enter a prompt, and get chatting with LLaVA’s chatbot. (Pricing: free)
4. Hyperficient: AI that maximizes your gains? Hyperficient is a science-based gym AI that creates personalized workout programs tailored to your individual preferences.
How it works: To generate the perfect custom gym plan, Hyperficient takes into account your preferred training days, target muscles, ability level, and workout split. This tool also disarms the classic “I’m too busy to workout” excuse—all training programs are optimized for time efficiency.
Science-backed: Hyperficient builds on the latest training research to give users insights into optimal exercise selection and proper biomechanics. (Pricing: paid—but offers a free trial)

5. Summify: Really want to watch that one video, but don’t have the time? Summify can give you the TL;DR of any video content (podcasts, interviews, lectures, etc.) in a matter of seconds.
How it works: Quickly get an overview of long videos by pasting their URL into Summify. You can then choose a summary style (like “key insights,” “Twitter thread,” or “blog post”) according to your preferences. In the future, Summify also plans to offer multi-language support and multi-video summaries. (Pricing: freemium)
6. Image App: This image generation tool allows you to generate and train custom AI images using leading AI models like Stable Diffusion and DALL-E.
How it works: Image App curates and fine-tunes the latest AI image generation models to produce stunning visuals. You can even personalize models using your own datasets and aesthetics—allowing you to customize models for your unique brand or vision. The model-training process is easier than it sounds—the platform guides you through everything step-by-step, no coding required. (Pricing: freemium)
